Home Office Set Up
By Bryon Zirker

Building a home office is really very simple. Certain
things to consider would be a home office desk and
chair, a home office phone, and a home office
computer.

It might be a good idea to get a home office computer
desk system that includes a space for the computer
and additional desk space for a work area all in one.
You will need to make sue that you have plenty of
space to work with, whether you are using the phone
or computer.

Once you decide on a home office design, it is time
to look for the specific items that you want. My home
office includes the computer desk system, the phone,
a computer, a few shelves and a printer.

I use my computer the most as my business activities
are mostly online. I rarely use the phone for business.

Home office organization is fun. I used garage sales
and Ebay for ideas. I did not spend a lot of money on
the items that I put in my home office. I have already
mentioned that garage sales or Ebay are great places
to look for home office items.

I recommend checking the classifieds online and in
news papers, flea marketand swap meets. Check with
people that you know, who may have stored items they
plan to sell or give away. Other places might include
thrift stores and used furniture type outlets.

So where now do you put your office. Obviously if you
have a spare room or space in your home use that. If
your home has a den space use that. I use a spare
room in the basement area for my home office. I have
heard of people using an area in there garage for a
home office set up.

The main thing to remember is to be able to work from
your home office with minimal distractions. I can
close myself in by shutting the door to emerge hours
later with a lot of work behind me.

The main point here concerning home office set up is
to get it done quick and inexpensively with the items
that are necessary for the business to function
properly.

Remember too, that the items are tax deductible in
most cases and the space that you use may be tax
deductible also. Check the tax laws where you reside
to be sure of what is and what is not deductible.

So what are you waiting for? Get that home office
set up and put your open for business face on.
